Tour description

The American Colony of Guadalajara was awarded as the best neighborhood in the world in 2022. Join us on our free tour and immerse yourself in its rich history, impressive architecture and unmatched nightlife.


Our tour begins at the Museum of Arts of the University of Guadalajara (MUSA), where you can admire the first mural by the famous muralist José Clemente Orozco in the city and immerse yourself in the cultural wealth of Guadalajara.

We will visit the majestic El Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento Parish, an impressive neo-Gothic church. We will walk through the American Colony, admiring the impressive modern-style houses from the beginning of the 20th century, highlighting some designed by the renowned architect Luis Barragán.

We will cross the vibrant Chapultepec Avenue, known for its nightlife and culture. Finally, we will conclude at the ITESO Clavigero House, an architectural jewel of the city and the world.
