*Jekyll&Hyde* Ottawa symbolism and voices of yore

Welcome to Ottawa, friends! Bienvenidos, amigas y amigos! ...Power and weakness; crime and safety; freedom and slavery; lies and truth; poverty and luxury; politics and culture, we discuss OTTAWA-BYTOWN-CORKTOWN caught in the maze of history.
During our tour, we will visit some of the main points of interest in the city:
1. Notre Dame basilica including interior
2. Royal Canadian Mint, 1908 Tudor neoGothic
3. National Gallery ("Musee des Beaux Arts" in French), Samuel de Champlain point
4. Peacekeeping Monument to Canadian soldiers; the indigenous "Three Sentinels"
5. Majors Hill park, Colonel By lookout point
6. Byward Market: "Corktown" historic area popular with the visitors
7. Rideau canal: a UNESCO World heritage site
8. National War Monument and ...
Outside of our tour, but important:
Nature museum: Victoria building, City Hall, Library of the Parliament, National Arts Center, Ottawa Art Gallery and demonstration of photo albums to learn about the dynamics of change, works of important Canadian artists and local photographers. NB I bring original books and items to complement the story and happily stick around longer to answer questions and share my recommendations on the best spots to enjoy Ottawa as locals do. Don't miss out on this unique experience in Ottawa!

I am a seasoned traveler with a passion for history, biographical data, and archaeology; ready to offer authentic travel experience; will share information based on your area(s) of interest. We can turn this into a one of a kind experience; there is no rush on my tour and the group is small. You don't pay for my time, but, rather, tip based on how much you enjoyed it. NB if you already know how being in a bigger tour group can ruin it then you should definitely meet with me for a personalized memorable visit
