My name is Pablo, I am a dentist, traveler and coordinator of travel groups in different countries around the world (Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia). Every time I return to Uruguay, my stays oscillate between Cabo Polonio in the summer seasons and Piriapolis, which is where I currently reside. Places of unique magic, that made me fall in love with their sunsets, meet locals, understand their stories and return every so often. I will be happy to show you, through walking tours, these places that I am so passionate about!

Tour description

Discover the magic of the Cabo Polonio sunset while we share mate🧉

I will tell you the history of this magical place while I show you the most iconic natural points of the cape. The stories of castaways that surround the islands, the sea lions and the lighthouse are really the perfect condiment to the imposing beauty of this place.

I will also give you recommendations on what to do and good places to eat the best polonium catches of the day!

Route: We will meet at the restaurant of the Puertas al Cabo inn. We will go down the main street towards Calavera Beach, I will introduce you to locals who are working but who will be able to say hello as we pass by. Getting to know local life is undoubtedly a fascinating component of the Cape!
We will skirt the rock paths to see the impressive sea lion reserves, one of the most important sea lion farms in South America.
You can optionally climb the lighthouse to contemplate the incredible views of the entire Cape Polonio. Then we will do a short and easy trek to reach the south beach.

We will end the tour contemplating the best sunset of the cape, which is the most beautiful in Uruguay 🇺🇾
