"o Caminho do Atlântico" - a slow walk from Foz do Douro to Matosinhos

"Some journeys aren't measured in miles ..." 

They are measured in the conversations we have, the places we discover and the way we feel when we finally slow down.

This walk was born from a simple idea: not everyone has the time to walk the Camino de Santiago, but everyone deserves the chance to experience what walking can do to the mind. 

Together we'll leave behind Porto's busy centre and follow the Atlantic coastline from Foz to Matosinhos. No rush: just the sound of the ocean, local stories, hidden corners, fishermen, beaches, breeze and the rhythm of a city that changes as you walk.

Along the way I'll share stories about Porto's relationship with the Atlantic, local life, traditions, architecture and the small details that most visitors never notice. This isn't a history lesson - it's an invitation to experience Porto differently.

Perfect if you've already explored the historic centre, or if you're simply looking for something slower, quieter and more authentic.

By the end of the walk you'll probably have taken plenty of photos. But I hope you'll leave with something even more valuable:

the feeling of having truly walked Porto.
