I'm Chema, better known on social media as "Cocinero en Japón" (Covers in Japan). I'm a Spanish chef who has been living in Japan for over 5 years. I'm the author of the book Al pie del fogón en Japón (At the foot of the fog in Japan), a unique work on Japanese gastronomy and fusion cuisine. I also have channels on YouTube, Instagram and a podcast, where I share my passion for Japanese cuisine and culture. With over 3 years of experience as a guide in Japan, I've lived in Osaka, Kyoto, Tokushima, Saitama, Chiba and Tokyo, which has allowed me to gain a deep knowledge of the local culture, its history and its gastronomy. I'm a specialist in gastronomic tours and I speak both Japanese and Spanish. You can find me on Instagram and on the rest of my networks as "Cocinero en Japón" (Covers in Japan). My website is www.cocineroenjapon.com My Instagram is @cocinerojapon.
"My tours are unique: you don't just tour Japan's attractions, you also enjoy an authentic food tour. Every step and bite will take you to discover local flavors and places where tourists don't reach. An experience that no one else offers!"

I'll be wearing a white t-shirt with a logo that says "Gastrotours, Chef in Japan" with a light brown cap and black Nike sneakers. Meet me in front of the police station at the Kaminarimon gate.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
