The East Village NoHo Food Tour

Fabulous tour, with many hidden gems and surprises. I have new places to return to and a wealth of knowledge following the tour.

We had such a great experience on The East Village NoHo Food Tour! Jon was an excellent guide; very well articulated, knowledgeable, and full of fun and meaningful anecdotes that really brought the neighborhood to life. We loved getting to explore an area of New York that we probably wouldn’t have visited on our own, and it truly felt like seeing the city through the eyes of someone who is part of the community. The food along the tour was absolutely delicious, and a big bonus was how naturally the tour included interactions with local shop owners, residents, and even lots of animals we got to pet along the way, which made it feel warm, lively, and personal. It was clear that Jon knows and cares deeply about the East Village community since he visits it so often. We also really appreciated how Jon checked in with the group to make decisions together in a democratic, relaxed way, and how transparent he was with the food prices and options. That made the tour feel both friendly and trustworthy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience; great guide, great food, and a genuine look at the neighborhood’s culture and character. Highly recommended!

A great variety of different foods that we got to eat. History of each place and sights along the way. You get to meet other tourists from around the world and some you see on multiple tours. Thanks for a week of wonderful tours.

Great food and great times

I was excited about a tour where I could both learn the history of an area and get a taste of lots of food from that area. Jon was professional and knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend him and CityShuffles to anyone visiting NYC!
