Imagine you're one of the first discoverers of Madeira and you just arrived to the bay of Machico on a portuguese caravel. Step off your ship and embark on a time travelling journey through the streets of the city considered as "the first land" of Madeira.

Get ready to:

🏰 Explore forgotten streets and landmarks of the city;
🗝️ Discover secret spots tied to the island's rediscovery and history;
🌋 Learn about the rich geological and biological heritage of Madeira;
❓ Find out many interesting facts and curiosities about Machico.

The tour will start at the end of the pier of Machico and we will head into the centre, passing by the main attractions of the town.
The tour is around 2,2km in distance and will last approximately 2 hours, depending on the interaction level/questions.
This tour is suited for people with reduced mobility, children (including baby strollers) or even pets, as the majority of the route is flat with slight elevation changes.
Please try to be at the meeting point 5 or 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
