Free tour Sucre: indigenous art, culture, and history in Sucre
Tour description
Tour Itinerary:
Our meeting point will be Plazuela Monteagudo, a charming small square. I usually wear a blue, white, and red cap to be easily recognized.
We will start in a space dedicated to indigenous art. It's not just about seeing objects; it's about understanding the codes and symbols that indigenous peoples have woven for centuries.
We will walk towards the Plaza de Armas (25 de Mayo). Here, I will tell you why Sucre is the cradle of American freedom and the most important events for Bolivia's independence.
We will enter the colonial courtyard of the University of San Francisco Xavier. You will feel like you're in the 17th century as we walk through one of the oldest cloisters on the continent.
We will cross markets and charming squares. This is where Sucre breathes; I will give you my best tips on where to eat like a true "local".
We will end at the Mirador de La Recoleta. With the white city at our feet and the sun illuminating the tiled roofs, it's the perfect place for final photos and to say goodbye with the best view of the city
