Description
Leave the tourist hotspots behind and discover one of the most colorful neighborhoods. Wander through colorful streets where heritage meets modern life and every corner has a story to tell.
I’m Margarita — a guide and longtime resident who still finds magic in these streets. On this 2 hour walk, we’ll explore Singapore’s first and only heritage town Katong- Joo Chiat.
We'll meet at i12Katong mall (112 East Coast Rd)
Nearest MRT station Marine Parade (exit 3)
What you can expect?
We’ll uncover how this neighbourhood grew from coconuts to culture, while admiring bright shophouses and their quirky little details.
There’ll be snacks to taste, murals to spot, and plenty of photo opportunities for your memories.
I’ll share my favorite places where to shop, eat, and play.
We will end with a wow moment at Koon Seng Road and if you would like, you can stay longer to relax with a drink nearby.
This is a tip-based tour. If you enjoy the experience, most guests usually tip around S$ 25–50 per person.
