Tour description
Dear traveler, I hope you're enjoying planning your trip. Thank you in advance for joining my tour. You certainly won't regret strolling with me through the wonderful, peaceful streets of Bragança, the capital of Tras os Montes.
We begin the tour in Praça da Sé, the city's main square where almost all the locals gather. We then visit the old Cathedral with its wonderful cloister of the former convent of Santa Clara. We then descend to the Church of Misericordia with its beautiful altarpiece. We then make a gastronomic visit to the Chestnut Museum, where you can taste the famous "Brigantino" pastry to recharge your batteries for the beautiful climb to the castle gates. After explaining a bit of its history, we will enter A Ciudadela, which will undoubtedly surprise you as it is a small town within the castle walls. We end this walk in the Plaza Mayor of the original 13th-century castle.
Bragança will truly surprise you. I look forward to exploring this city with you. Thank you so much!
