This visit will take you to discover one of the secrets of inland Alicante, Cocentaina, La Vila Comtal, with just under 11,500 inhabitants, Cocentaina is the capital of the Comtat, from prehistoric settlements to modernist houses, all surrounded by the incredible views of the Mariola.
A visit to the historic center of Cocentaina will allow you to experience the two cultures that coexisted here in the Middle Ages. On one hand, you can venture into the "raval," the Moorish area of Cocentaina, where you can lose yourself and dream in its labyrinthine streets. On the other hand, you can visit the "Vila Comtal," protected by the Count's Palace and its walls.
