1. Ngasem Traditional Market: We begin our morning where the city wakes up. Experience the vibrant buzz of a true Yogyakarta market. We will navigate the stalls to smell exotic spices, see fresh local produce, and taste Jajan Pasar delightful, traditional market snacks loved by generations of locals.
2. Coffee Experience: Tucked away near the majestic southern walls of the Sultan’s Palace (Magangan), we will take a break at a hidden local spot. Here, you will discover the rich history of Indonesian coffee and try your hand at brewing your own cup.
Note: There is absolutely no pressure or obligation to buy anything. You are warmly welcome to simply relax, enjoy the aromatic atmosphere, and listen to the heritage stories.
I will be sharing a lot about Yogyakarta, its history, culture, reccomendation and many more
3. Alun-Alun Kidul: The Mystic Backyard, we arrive at the Sultan’s southern square, a place steeped in local folklore. Shaded by two majestic, twin Banyan trees, you will learn about the Masangin challenge, a mystical legend that says only those pure of heart can walk blindfolded between the trees.
4. Masjid Gedhe Kauman & Sonobudoyo: Spiritual Harmony, we conclude our journey by passing through grand spiritual architecture of the Grand Mosque. We finish at the Sonobudoyo Museum, home to Java's finest cultural treasures, such as sacred Kris daggers and Wayang shadow puppets.
