Free Tour of Osaka's 3 most iconic neighborhoods
On this Free Tour of Osaka, we will visit the 3 most characteristic neighborhoods of this lively city!
The tour will begin with a visit to Yasaka Namba Shrine, iconic for its enormous lion head. After this visit, we'll continue with a stroll along Sennichimae Doguyasuji Street, famous for its kitchenware and quirky food replicas.
After walking along this street, we'll arrive in Dotonbori to visit the iconic Glico sign, the city's most famous postcard image. Nearby, tucked away in the heart of the neighborhood, is Hozenji, a small Buddhist temple with a unique moss-covered sculpture.
We'll also visit Kuromon Market, a famous food market that showcases why Osaka is known as the "kitchen of Japan." After our visit to the market, we'll stroll through the charming streets of Nipponbashi, the district of pop culture, manga, and anime.
To end the tour, we will head to Shinsekai and its popular Tsutenkaku tower; this curious neighborhood with its retro-futuristic aesthetic will delight us with the colors and extravagance of its facades.
Finally, after 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will finish the tour in this neighborhood.
The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes
