G'day, I’m Nic — a Melbourne local, storyteller, and passionate city explorer. Melbourne is my backyard, and I love sharing its laneways, culture, history, and hidden details with visitors from around the world. My tours are relaxed, engaging, and I focus on stories rather than scripts, bringing the city to life through conversation, local insight, and the little details that make Melbourne unique. Whether it’s your first visit or you think you already know the city, I aim to help you see Melbourne with fresh eyes — and leave feeling connected, informed, and inspired.

Tour description

Melbourne is a city full of things to see — if you know where to look.

On this two-hour guided walking tour, we explore the city by paying attention to its visual details — from murals, sculptures, and statues to the architectural features woven through the streets, including tiled floors, ironwork, facades, domes, and ceilings.
Along the way, we’ll pass through a beautiful green space, adding another layer to how Melbourne looks and feels. We’ll also stop at some of the city’s most iconic and photogenic locations, taking time to look a little closer and uncover what makes them special.
This tour is about noticing, curiosity, and understanding how Marvellous Melbourne came to look and feel the way it does. It’s for curious types and story lovers — those who want to see the icons, and what lies beyond them.
Come for a walk and see Melbourne a little differently.

Flinders Street Station
I'll meet you under the clocks at Flinders Street Station, at the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets — Melbourne’s most iconic meeting spot. I’ll be under the Alamein Line clock with a friendly smile.

Chapter House
On the site of what was once a corn market in Melbourne's infancy, this Gothic style building is more than a small parish hall for the use of St Paul's clergy.
2
Outside visit
Duckboard Place
Once the place where World War II troops came to be entertained and let off steam, the lane is now home to an artistic love letter to Melbourne.
3

Regarded by many as Melbourne’s most spectacular landmark, our princess reflects the opulence of the "Marvellous Melbourne" boom period.
