Hey! I’m Mel—Denver-based, endlessly curious, and a big believer that cities are best explored on foot. I love sharing Denver’s history, hidden gems, and the stories that don’t always make it into guidebooks. My tours are relaxed, informative, and designed to feel like walking the city with a knowledgeable friend.

Tour description

Step away from the busy downtown streets and into the neighborhoods that shaped Denver’s soul. On this walk, we’ll explore leafy parks, historic homes, and one of the city’s most socially and culturally influential areas.

Starting in Congress Park, we’ll move through green spaces and into Capitol Hill, a neighborhood known for its layered history, activism, diversity, and iconic architecture. Along the way, I’ll share engaging stories, surprising fun facts, and the moments that helped define Denver—past and present.

This tour blends history, culture, and an outdoorsy vibe, with plenty of chances to slow down, ask questions, and really connect with the city. I’m also happy to offer local recommendations for food, coffee, museums, parks, and outdoor adventures after the walk.

Come curious, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready to see Denver from a more local, human perspective.
