SF stories: Union Square, Chinatown, and elevated garden between skyscrapers

This tour is all about the incredible people who built this marvelous city. San Francisco may be the American city farthest from Europe, yet it has a distinctly European feel: you can walk almost everywhere, relax in beautiful parks, and enjoy the city from its many benches and public spaces. At the same time, San Francisco is home to the largest Chinatown in the United States and next to it is Little Italy! We also have one of the most impressive Financial Districts in the country.

On this tour, you’ll discover how these different worlds come together to create the unique character of San Francisco. I’ll share what it’s like to live here, and through history, architecture, and fascinating stories, we’ll explore why San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Here are some of the tour stops we'll make on the way:
1. We will meet on Post and Powell street right across Victoria's Secret! (No, we are not going in!)
2, Maiden Lane
3. Chinatown Dragon Gate
4. Old St Mary Cathedral
5. Old Chinese Tongs
6. Chinese cookie factory
7. Transamerica Pyramid
8. Elevated (rooftop) garden
9. Ferry Building

The tour will last about 2.5 hours.
I would suggest you wear layers and comfy shoes!

The tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes
