Tour and hanging out throughout Aleppo city

The tour lasts 3 hours
Available in Arabic and English

Description

Hi! I'm Muhammad, a local from Aleppo who loves walking through the old streets, sharing stories, and meeting people from around the world. Join me for a walk through the real soul of the city — the hidden corners, the flavors, and the conversations you won't find in any guidebook.

Whether you're drawn to history, food, photography, or simply curious exploration, we'll discover it together. We'll wander through hidden gems most visitors never find, stop for tea, swap stories, and let the city speak for itself. I'll be there to translate, share, and guide — not as a professional, but as someone who genuinely loves Aleppo and enjoys connecting with open-minded travelers.

Every walk is different, because every traveler brings something new. If you're visiting Aleppo, feel free to reach out — I'd love to show you around.

1. Citadel of Aleppo – We enter the citadel (no historical narration, just an introduction to the place, a short free walk, and photo opportunity).

2. Souq al-Saqatiyya (the old spice/herb market in Aleppo) – A walk with explanations about traditional markets and crafts.

3. Saadallah Al-Jabiri Square (the main square of Aleppo) – Explanation about the city center and its historical and social importance.

4. City center – Walking through the main streets, explaining daily life and surrounding landmarks.

5. Umayyad Mosque of Aleppo – Entering the courtyard (if open) with an explanation about the mosque’s architecture and history.

6. A church in the Al-Aziziyah district (for example: the Church of Our Lady or St. George’s Church) – Explanation about Aleppo's religious diversity, with an exterior visit (or interior if possible). Total duration:

Important notes:
  • 2 hours (with possible 15 extra minutes for flexibility).
  • The tour is completely free, based only on tips.

  • All stops are walkable; no transportation needed.
  • Castle entrance fee 10-15$
