Walking with an Authorized Guide through Romanesque Pisa

History, legend, and poetry of Romanesque Pisa, which transformed from a pirate refuge into a maritime republic, building its wealth and fame on the plundering of Palermo. In Piazza dei Miracoli, we will follow the path that the Pisans took to be baptized, where they prayed, and finally where they were buried. We will admire the Prato dei Miracoli with its world-famous monuments, and as we walk towards the historic center, we will reach Piazza dei Cavalieri on foot and end the tour by passing through Piazza delle Vettovaglie, glancing over the Arno to see Palazzo Blu and the Church of Santa Maria della Spina.

External visits are planned for the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Leaning Tower, and the monumental cemetery. In Piazza dei Cavalieri, an external visit of the buildings is planned.
