Begin at Stortorget, Malmö’s main historic square, and see the famous Lejonet Pharmacy, one of Sweden’s oldest pharmacies, operating for over 500 years. Continue to St. Peter’s Church, Malmö’s oldest building, dating back to the 14th century, and admire the impressive City Hall and historic statues along the way.

Stroll through charming streets to Lilla Torg, Malmö’s most vibrant square, filled with cafés, restaurants, and a lively atmosphere. Learn about its history as a 16th-century marketplace and discover how it gained its distinctive appearance.

Continue to Gustav Adolfs Torg, where you’ll see the Five Fountains, the “Playing Children” sculpture from 1915, and the unique Öresund Fountain, famous for its warm water and spectacular winter ice formations.

Your walk then takes you past the Old Cemetery and Malmö City Library, an architectural landmark combining a historic building with a striking modern extension overlooking the park.
