Scandals and Ghosts of Old New Orleans

The tour lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes
Available in English

Description

Ask anyone what there is to do in New Orleans and they all say the same thing -- GO ON A GHOST TOUR. And there's a reason. Packed within the French Quarter has more stories of scandals, crimes, and ghosts than anywhere else in the world. Stories of murders, hauntings, and sadistic characters can be found on every street.

I've been a tour guide for nearly fifteen years and given tours across several cities, but New Orleans is where I started. And for the month of October ONLY, I'll be giving a FREE GHOST TOUR to get into Spooky Season. No need to pay upfront like you do with other companies, just give whatever you think the tour is worth at the end.

Take my tour and you'll hear stories of:
-- the Axe Man of New Orleans, a real serial killer who wrote letters to the paper telling people they were only safe if their neighborhood played Jazz music;
-- Haunted Hotels where people have awoke to horrific sights;
-- Marie LaVeau, the most famous voodoo queen of all time;
-- Madame LaLaurie, whose crimes and sadistic nature continue to shock the world;
-- Plus a few more you won't hear on anyone else's tour!

The tour is 1.5 hours and walks less than a mile total. Please do not take children or under the age of 13 on the tour as it is not suitable for younger audiences. Language and content will not be changed no matter who takes the tour.

Guiding since 2023
Having been a tour guide for ten years in three different cities (New Orleans, New York City, and Los Angeles), I've had a lot of time learning the best ways to see different places by foot and discover the secrets you may not find otherwise. The best trips I've ever taken were in India, Cuba, Japan, and throughout South America. I love to meet people from abroad and spend time learning about them.
