Description

Welcome to Cuneo, the "wedge-shaped city" nestled between the majestic Maritime Alps and the Langhe. This guided tour of the historic center is a journey through time, designed for those who want to discover the authentic, elegant, and lively soul of the provincial capital.

An open-air living room: we will stroll under the legendary arcades of Cuneo, over 8 kilometers of historic arches that have hosted visitors, historic shops, and vintage cafes for centuries.
Beating hearts and large squares: we will cross the monumental Piazza Galimberti, a true city living room, to discover its curious stories related to the Resistance and neoclassical architecture.
Among alleys, art, faith, and nobility: we will delve into the oldest streets of Via Roma, among frescoed noble palaces, splendid courtyards, and historic churches that hold centuries of devotion and artistic mastery.
The flavors of tradition: our route will also touch on the rich local gastronomic history: we will reveal the secrets of the famous Cuneesi al Rhum and the city's indissoluble connection with the region's excellences.

Guiding since 2026
Good morning, my name is Raffaella and I was born in Cuneo in 1966. I initially pursued a technical education, graduating in Computer Science and gaining work experience in the field of sports events in Italy and abroad. Then, thanks to the experience I gained at the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, I had a true epiphany, a clear realization of living in a magnificent territory worth telling about. This sparked the desire to bring together my other experiences, both linguistic and those from a life spent among museums and books, purely for personal pleasure. I therefore obtained professional certification as a tour guide and a degree in linguistic mediation sciences, starting to engage in hospitality and training in the tourism sector. I consider myself a curious and lively person who spends time studying, explaining, accompanying, and narrating, in perpetual motion. I am in love with my territory and consider myself a citizen of the world. I see visitors as personal guests to whom I convey all the charm of a land with an intense history and culture, rich in artistic and gastronomic beauty.
