Discover Florence through a hands-on and convivial gastronomic experience: a fresh pasta workshop in a location overlooking the Arno, at Antica Officina 35, Via de' Bardi 35.
This activity is designed for those who not only want to taste Italian cuisine, but also want to understand its techniques, timing, and little secrets. Together with a professional chef, you will start with the basic ingredients and learn how to prepare fresh pasta dough, work it properly, and transform it into two traditional shapes: handmade tagliatelle and filled ravioli.
During the workshop, the chef will guide you step by step and explain how to recognize the right consistency of the dough, how to roll out the sheet, how to close the ravioli, and how to pair the sauce with the type of pasta. It will not be a simple demonstration: you will actively participate in every stage of the preparation.
The location makes the experience particularly special. The class takes place in a cozy setting on the Arno, in one of the most picturesque areas of Florence, a few steps from Ponte Vecchio and the historic old town. The atmosphere is relaxed and convivial, ideal for couples, friends, families, and travelers who want to experience an authentic moment linked to the Italian culinary tradition.
At the end of the class, sit down to enjoy the dishes prepared together, accompanied by selected Tuscan wine and soft drinks. It will be an informal and pleasant time to share the results of the work done in the kitchen, ask the chef questions, and take home useful tips to use again even after the trip.
The experience is also suitable for those who have never made fresh pasta before. Ingredients, gear, and the chef's guide are included.
