Explore the Douro Valley on a full-day tour with a dedicated driver and vehicle: vineyards, observation decks and riverside villages, with stops at your own pace.
Start the day with pickup in Porto, from your accommodation or at an agreed-upon location, and head to the Douro Valley in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Then take a traditional boat trip to admire unique views that can only be enjoyed from the Douro River. Along the way, the landscapes change gradually, creating the perfect setting for short stops whenever an observation deck or a spot worth photographing appears.
Once in the Douro, discover the wine region through terraced vineyards, typical villages along the river and scenic roads that follow the course of the river. Along the way, there will be opportunities to visit wineries in the region, learn a bit about local traditions and enjoy sweeping views of the valley from elevated viewpoints.
At midday, take a break for lunch at a venue chosen according to availability and the group's preferences, with time to savor the Douro region's cuisine at a leisurely pace. The itinerary remains flexible, allowing you to adjust the stops, the time spent at each location and the pace of the day according to what interests you most.
You will return to Porto in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your accommodation or at the previously agreed-upon location, wrapping up a full day immersed in iconic landscapes, local culture and the flavors of the region.
