Jump into the hard to find Harlem Jazz world on an unforgettable walking tour through one of New York's most fascinating neighborhoods. Go sightseeing in Harlem's historic jazz district to learn the history of the area as you move from one club to the next, led by your knowledgeable and enjoyable jazz guide with years of experience and an insider of the scene.
Meet in a conveniently located Harlem location near the subway line. Visit two neighborhood clubs to enjoy great music - a sampling of styles and atmospheres that thrill audiences in Harlem today.
Want to have dinner or sample local cuisine? No problem, dinner or appetizers can be arranged at most clubs you visit. Drinks are available for purchase at each venue as well. (If there is an exception, we will let you know ahead of time). Please be prepared to purchase some drinks or food to show your appreciation for the small business owners who do their best to accommodate our groups and share the authentic Harlem culture with us.
The best has been saved for last: If you're a musician or singer, you can actually perform at one of the clubs we visit! There's nothing more exciting for the group than to have a talented member of the audience get up on stage and jam with the band. Let us know ahead of time so we can help make those arrangements.
Please note that every night of the week offers a new itinerary, and we may need to update the meeting location and start time. Please look for personalized messages about your tour date from your guide, and confirm with them that you are aware of all updates.
