Excellent personalized food tour in Cebu.

Our guide went above an beyond to let us know about celebrations for new lunar year and came to chat and explain further even after the tour ended! He gave us idea to visit the Taoist centre in new lunar year's day and told us how to get there. He took some selfies with the group and sent them to us! ❤️

She thoughtfully adapted the tour for us. At one stop without a vegetarian option, she kindly brought a home-cooked vegetarian meal so I wouldn’t miss out. The pace was relaxed and was a private itinerary tailored just for us. Riding a jeepney like a local was a fun and authentic touch, adding to the immersive experience. Beyond the delicious Cebuano food, what truly stood out was the cultural exchange between India and the Philippines. Hazel shared wonderful insights into Cebu’s history and daily life, while also being genuinely curious about our culture. The conversations made the experience even more special. Hazel is kind, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable about her country. We left feeling full — not just from the food, but from the stories and shared experiences. Hazel è stata bravissima fin dal primo momento a farci fare gruppo, si è preoccupata costantemente per noi, spiegandoci tradizioni Filippine, facendoci provare street food che un turista non arriverebbe nemmeno a conoscere. A very Fun, interactive and informative tour. Hazel the host showed us some local spots which would be near impossible to find without her local expertise, she organised all dishes and activities and transport, making sure the whole tour ran smoothly. Hazel also treated us to a couple dishes in the final stop which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend booking this tour

This tour was better than expected! Lloyd was a great tour guide, he took us everywhere, spoke great English, and knew his history! He answered every question we had, and elaborated on all topics. We visited historical sites, the market, and had a wonderful jeepney experience! It was the perfect tour that included a little bit of everything, especially if it’s the first time visiting the country. I highly recommend booking a tour with Lloyd if visiting Cebu city!

Hazel did a beautiful job! She showed us around vibrant markets, picked out great food stalls, catered to our every wish and even went out of her way to extend the tour 2 hours longer. Great presentation, great food, incredible kindness by Hazel and every single person we met along the way. 10/10 would go again!

I chose Lloyd’s route on the last day of my Phillippines trip. He explained the history and culture very detailed and informative. I like the story of how the name Philippines came from. And the Puto part of strolling around traditional market. As a foreigner I don’t have chance to go to some hidden gem in the market. And also the Jeepney experience was cool. He showed us how to send money to the conductor and the driver which is cute. I can feel that he’s very passionate and proud of being a Filipino. Thanks Lloyd’s introduction, I get to meet the tradition, the local culture and the food!!

The tour far exceeded our expectations. As seasoned travelers we explore markets and neighborhoods and experiment with local street foods, but Hazel took us to the next level. She introduced us to foods we would not have tried on our own, gave us extensive history and context to the foods and cultures, took us to neighborhoods we wouldn’t have found on our own, and offered advice and suggestions for us for our travels beyond Cebu City. The range and amount of food surpassed expectations, and it was a fun and informative day with a small group (4) of like-minded foodie travelers. Overall it was a wonderful day and a great introduction to The Philippines

She was very informative and fun to talk with. She took us to many places where locals go but we wouldn't go by ourselves because we didn't know where and how to get to. We tried some local foods that we wouldn't try without any locals show how to eat them. It was such a fun experience. We took a jeepney and bikes rides to go around Cebu city. We definitely recommend this tour for who wants to see and experience real cebu.

Ended up only being the three of us. She was super professional and took us around to try some local foods and to a market. Would recommend this tour 10/10. She also noted that with the rain she had a different itinerary just in case.

If you can find a more committed, passionate and personable guide than Lloyd, I would like to meet them. Lloyd simply overflows with enthusiasm which made for a most memorable walk. Thank you Lloyd.

Very good guide! Louidth told much about Cebu and by stories, de history showing the highlights of the city made it come alive for us. As well the local food, many hours through the city was very good and interesting.

Absolutely can recommend Hazel's tour! It's a great mix of walking, talking and eating, we went to the market, that we probably wouldn't have visited by ourselves. And we tried interesting foods and learned a lot of about the Philippines, the people and the culture!

We really enjoyed our walk with Hazel. She spent some time at the start to go over what we wanted to see and tailored the experience to our requests. As we were more interested in food and street life, We spent the tour visiting the carbon market, Pasil, Puso village and finishing up at the House Of Lechon for lunch. We got around mostly by walking but also caught an e-bike and a jeepney ride. Hazel has full of interesting information and our time together just flew by. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Clear communication before the tour starts, Hazel was full of knowledge and background informations- not for sites but for Food ( as described). Many stops with new flavours each. Due to the small group (3) very individual. Excellent last stop at House of Lechon. Thank you Hazel :-)

I loved the food tour, we tried so many different things that I wouldn’t have tried on my own, the highlight for me was the pork brain, yumm! Hazel was lovely and we had a great time with her, she explained so much about her culture and made sure everything was top notch for us!

We joined Lloyds walk and were surprised to find out that we were the only ones who attended, so it was like a private tour. We enjoyed and learned so much about Cebu’s history and it was so valuable to walk thru the streets with Lloyds commentary. I strongly recommend this tour.
