Free walking tours Charaktere in Oviedo

We had a fantastic tour with Tom, who not only had amazing depth of knowledge about Oviedo and the Asturias region in general, but also provided us with the flavour of what it meant to live in this region, the food and the customs. He was entertaining and informative, and even helped us find a great place for lunch! Cannot recommend his tour more highly.

Tom was a great guide! He walked us through the history of Oviedo, over different centuries, bringing up interesting and historical facts in a very enjoyable pace. He also showed us some hidden city gems, that we otherwise would have missed. I feel like I’ve learned a lot about the city and the overall region of Asturias, and I would definitely recommend his tour! :)

Fantastic tour! Tom was very knowledgeable about Oviedo, from its origins more than a thousand years ago to present. He curated his talking points to share more about topics we were interested in, helped us find shelter during a downpour, and stayed with us to give recommendations for food and other activities in the region after the tour ended. Highly recommend, and if you can, start your stay in Oviedo with this tour. We got more out of our stay thanks to Tom’s insights.
