This is a great walking tour to get a feel for the city. The guide showed us hidden areas where the locals shop and dine and where the major landmarks are. The guide's name is Ozkan, he speaks very good English, answered all the questions nicely. The 5pm time was perfect bc we could see the city in the daylight and as it transitioned to evening with the monuments illuminated. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Hands down, one of the best walking tours we have done. After you see all the "must see" sites in Istanbul and aren't sure what to do next, do this tour!! Ozkan took us away from all the usual sights and we saw so many interesting (and less crowded) places. It was really fantastic!
