We struggled with traffic and arrived about 15 minutes late. I sent messages to the guru to advise him but had no response. We spent 15 minutes trying to find the guru but wasn’t there. Thankfully we managed to get on a later tour with another guru Hakim which was superb. Later I received a reply from the guru to advise he was ill and do not understand why he did not have the courtesy to contact us earlier extremely poor
It’s extremely disrespectful to confirm a tour as a guide and then fail to show up. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, but the guide, Sarawanan, never appeared. He didn’t send any message to explain the absence, nor did he respond to ours. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Sarawanan—he is not reliable or trustworthy.
