Aaron was a great guide. He gave just the right amount of information to be informative without overload & also provided for some free time to explore certain things that may interest you more. He also showed a few places I would have never found on my own. I would definitely recommend this tour with Aaron.

I could never expect that Aaron took us into some old people home to show us how people lived in a shophou. Really appreciate it!

Aaron was a fantastic guide. Thanks to his tour, we got a much deeper understanding and appreciation for Sarawak, its culture and its politics than we had expected, even coming in knowing nothing about the region. He told a great story through the different locations we stopped at, and we even got to enter one of the old shophouses - we didn't expect this at all! (only possible during the evening tour) He is super knowledgable and answered all of our questions and more. Cannot recommend Aaron enough!!

Aaron made the trip especially interesting by taking us to unique shops/hidden gems that we would probably have walked right past if we were exploring the town on our own. What made it even more enjoyable was the way he shared the stories and history behind each place. Instead of telling us everything at once, he revealed little bits of information along the way, almost like unraveling a mystery. Each clue led to another discovery, keeping us curious and engaged throughout the journey.

Aaron was an excellent guide and the perfect introduction to Kuching and Sarawak. The evening tour began at the open-air food market and, with our small group, felt relaxed and personal throughout. As a true local with deep family roots in the city, Aaron brought the history and culture to life through fascinating stories and personal insights that you will not find in guidebooks. The highlight was being welcomed into a local family home, giving us a genuine glimpse into traditional city life. This tour was a great introduction to Sarawak and the wider region of Malaysian Borneo.
