Mein Name ist Jan und ich komme aus Český Krumlov. Ich mag Natur, Sport, schwarzen Humor und natürlich Bier. Ich bin in Český Krumlov aufgewachsen und habe Geisteswissenschaften und Anthropologie an der Karls-Universität in Prag studiert. Nach kurzen Auslandsaufenthalten in den USA und Neuseeland bin ich nach Hause zurückgekehrt und arbeite seit 7 Jahren als Guide. Ich mag die Geschichte meiner Stadt sehr und am meisten fasziniert mich die Geschichte des 20. Jahrhunderts. We were glad we chose to do this tour! We do walking tours in every new city we go to, but since Cesky Krumlov is such a small place, we wondered if it would be worthwhile. But despite the town's petite size, there was still a lot to learn! Jan had very extensive knowledge about Cesky Krumlov and wider Czech history, he imparted so much information in the time that we had. The personal stories were also a very appreciated touch -- it always helps when what you're learning is anchored by lived experience.
