Mi nombre es Jan y soy de Český Krumlov. Me gusta la naturaleza, el deporte, el humor negro y por supuesto la cerveza. Crecí en Český Krumlov y estudié humanidades y antropología en la Universidad Charles de Praga. Después de breves estancias en el extranjero en los EE. UU. y Nueva Zelanda, regresé a casa y he estado trabajando como guía durante 7 años. Me gusta mucho la historia de mi ciudad y lo que más me fascina es la historia del siglo XX. We were glad we chose to do this tour! We do walking tours in every new city we go to, but since Cesky Krumlov is such a small place, we wondered if it would be worthwhile. But despite the town's petite size, there was still a lot to learn! Jan had very extensive knowledge about Cesky Krumlov and wider Czech history, he imparted so much information in the time that we had. The personal stories were also a very appreciated touch -- it always helps when what you're learning is anchored by lived experience.
