Interesting information about the Gilded Age mansions. Nice to get into a few buildings and wonderful to finish at the Frick Museum. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Scott did a terrific job bringing the Upper East Side’s Guilded Age to life with a walking tour of period Mansions that have been repurposed- French Cultural Center, Fine Art Galleries, Ukrainian Institute of America. He also showed us inside the historic Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of art, history, and architecture and a great collection of photos on the iPad he brings. Highly recommend.
