Practicing artist, student of tech and computer art. Have lived in New York for going on 8 years. I love how I keep finding cool treasures in the city. I’m from Texas. I have been giving tours of art and architecture for 10 years, working at modern art museums as well as New York City guided tours.
I ended up doing a private tour with Scott because the other 4 people in the group were no-shows! He is a wealth of information about both history and architecture. He was willing to incorporate my interests as a participant and was a genuinely pleasant and nice person. I highly recommend his tour!

We are local but felt like tourists as our guide Scott gave us a history lesson of Greenwich Village. He told us about the artists who populated the area from the early 1800s through the 1970s He also showed us the various architecture of the neighborhood as well. It was thoughtful and well paced and even for a local it was a fun afternoon.
Scott is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend going around the Guilded Area of NYC with him.
