Zeni was a fabulous tour guide, introducing us to so many wonderful spots in Tirana. He was extremely knowledgeable on many things in Albania and gave us a good overview of the history, politics and culture. A fascinating and full city tour!
Samir is everything that you need from a tour guide. He is 1. Punctual (I really appreciate this) 2. Warm, friendly, and smiling 3. Detailed oriented- doesn’t skip anything 4. Knowledge of local history, traditions and culture 5. Patient, and gives ample time and opportunity to understand 6. Energetic and positive 7. Completely committed to his job. He’s passionate. Doesn’t do it “only” for money. He takes pleasure in showing his city. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and loved seeing his city with him.

I loved this tour! The guide walked us calmly through the city hotspots and up the mountain to the castle. Inside the castle I would have been lost as in a maze, but this guy seemed to know each and every brick. The tour combined with the beautiful views, trivia questions and suggestions on where to have the best Albanian meal/drink, made me very happy to have taken this tour. Absolutely would recommend visiting Berat and taking this walking tour! You’ll love it!
