Maria was amazing, she was funny and laid back and even though there were only 2 of us that joined the tour she still delivered a high quality engaging tour. I learnt a lot, loved the stories and the route of the neighbourhood! Much recommended! I never do these tours, but this one exceeded my expectations! Thank you <3

Dulce, nuestra guía, demostró mucho conocimiento sobre la ciudad y sus atractivos. Además, durante el recorrido compartió sugerencias, horarios y tips para visitar más lugares después, desde museos y talleres de artesanías, hasta bares y restaurantes de cocinas regionales. Con tino y ocurrencia, nos dio momentos para descansar, velando por la comodidad del grupo. Muy recomendable Oaxaca by Locals.

Su was a terrific guide! Her knowledge of Oaxaca, its history, current affairs and people was truly impressive, making for a fabulous introduction to the city. The walk was relaxed and easy, moving at a pace slow enough for any fitness level. She was also incredibly generous with her recommendations of places to visit after the tour. I ate at one of the restaurants she suggested and it was brilliant. I would highly recommend this tour with Su. As a Oaxacan local, she is proud of her region and it is wonderful to see that expressed throughout the walk.

Great experience and walking tour with Luis. Very informative and fun, the group was in a good size (7 pax), and we absolutely loved it, to get Luis’ view on his city and the life in Oaxaca.

Maria was such an enthusiastic guide and gave us great information on this beautiful walk. Since I speak Spanish, I was able to get some additional local information about the neighborhood that I would not have had otherwise. My best pictures of Oaxaca came from this tour. Gotta love GuruWalk!
