What a great day seeing many hidden gardens and courtyards in the city center. Though 4 hours long time flew, the pace was relaxed. Some historical information shared and lots of cultural information of interest. Tomas did a great job of remembering names and interests of all attendees. True Ecuadorian hospitality felt.

I had a wonderful free walking tour with Marco in Cuenca! He was friendly, open, communicative, and very adaptable to the situation. Even though I was the only participant that day, he created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The tour was a little shorter because of this, but I didn’t mind at all. Marco shared lots of fascinating facts and demonstrated an impressive knowledge of Cuenca and its history. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend a tour with him!

Erudite, informative, and great fun. Book this walking tour as soon as you arrive as the treasures of Cuenca will be revealed by the excellent, sophisticated Tomas! so much information packed into 4 hours with well timed breaks for coffee or hot chocolate. just wow!!

The guide was really great: knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the city. The explanations and stories were genuinely interesting. However, the constant push to buy things throughout the tour really detracted from the experience. Between the stops for ice cream, pastries, cheese, and coffee, it quickly felt overbearing. Even though buying isn't strictly mandatory, there is an unspoken pressure to open your wallet at every stop, which spoils the whole spirit of a free walking tour. At times, it felt more like a commercial sales circuit than an authentic cultural walk. It is a pity, because the guide's storytelling was top-notch, and the tour would be so much better without these persistent sales pitches.

It was an absolutely amazing tour with Tomás. He is an officially licensed guide and very qualified in my opinion! He has broad knowledge about the history of Cuenca, the colonial times, the buildings and the region. Really recommend his tour! He showed me places that I would never have found otherwise and it was not boring for a second. My experience with Tomás was a 10/10!

Ronald is an incredible guide. I am impressed with the amount of information we received. There was a lot of context and history. He gave detailed answers to our questions. At the museum, there were visitors listening to him even though they were not part of the tour. The tour lasted 30 minutes more than we expected. I highly recommend this guide.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tomas! Tomas was a wealth of information with regard to both Cueca and Ecuadoran history as well as local and national customs and culture. He has a very easy-going nature and conveyed the information in a very easy to understand manner. Although Tomas is serious about the information he wants to convey to the clients, he also has a keen sense of humor which the group really enjoyed. Tomas' spoken English was excellent which made the tour that much more enjoyable. Tomas was the consummate professional and we highly recommend this specific tour and Tomas as a tour guide!

Recomiendo 100%

A family of four, we all loved Ronald and his tour, he was extremely passionate and knew a lot about culture and history of his land. It is a completely different experience to visit the museum with his guidance; strongly reccomended! (Ps: we also sang in the street as is also a singer ;-)
