Andrea was great. The evening tour was very informative and entertaining. She is very knowledgeable and made it fun for us. Even though we were just the 2 of us, Andrea was professional and made it entertaining. We loved the chocolate tasting & education and the local drink. Highly recommend this tour with Andrea.

★★★★★ Andrea made this Historic Quito tour exceptional… I can’t recommend her highly enough! Her deep knowledge and genuine passion for Quito and Ecuador made the history and culture come alive…. She explained everything clearly while keeping the tour engaging and fun, from Ecuador’s Indigenous groups to important local products like chocolate, coffee, and flowers. Seeing Plaza Grande at night, walking through La Ronda, and exploring the beautiful colonial architecture made the experience especially memorable. Andrea gave a fascinating and authentic introduction to Historic Quito that I’ll remember long after the trip.

Andrea was wonderful, informative, supportive, and engaging. I did struggle to understand her about 20% of the time, due to her accent, and soft voice against the traffic noise, but my hearing is not perfect.

My GuruWalk experience in Quito was absolutely outstanding. The city itself is a masterpiece of history and architecture, but what truly brought it to life was our guide. Their ability to blend historical facts with local culture, traditions, and legendary stories made every stop feel meaningful and alive. From ancient plazas to hidden corners of the historic center, the guide didn’t just explain what we were seeing — they revealed the soul of Quito. The mix of humor, knowledge, and storytelling kept the entire walk engaging from start to finish. And then came the street‑food tasting — the perfect touch. From traditional snacks to flavors you only discover when guided by a true local, each bite added another layer to the story of Quito. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a full sensory experience. From ancient plazas to hidden corners of the historic center, the guide didn’t just explain what we were seeing — they revealed the soul of Quito. The mix of humor, knowledge, and storytelling kept the entire walk engaging from start to finish. If you want to understand Quito beyond the surface and feel the magic behind its legends, this tour is a must. Highly recommended.

A must do to see the beauty of historical Quito at night. Places and sights you would otherwise miss without a guided tour! It made me fall in love with this city!

He gave us really good suggestions for where we could eat local cuisine and prompted us for good photo opportunities. You could really tell his passion for the knowledge that he has.
