David put a lot of effort into the tour and gave us a lot of very interesting insights and facts about KL

What an awesome experience. Have done walking tours before, but this one has got to be one of the most fun ones – because the guide is an absolute “know it all” in the best way possible, and is super thoughtful of every visitor. He helped break the ice within the group as well, and made sure we all had a good time. All questions were welcome, the spots we were taken to were very well chosen, I felt we spent a good amount of time in each area, and the explanations/stories shared about each area was done in a very fun and interactive way. I did the tour upon my arrival to KL and it was a good decision because it helped me get accustomed to the areas, and was introduced to some great spots that I went back to during my stay in KL. Big fat yes!

We chose to do the night tour after doing the day tour with Hakim - was a good decision! We saw some similar places to the day tour, but not exactly the same either. Day time and night time bring out a different vibes, so each area even if we had seen it felt like a new place and had some new stories linked to it as well. The tour includes some awesome foodie spots but not to worry, Hakim takes into consideration the visitor’s dietary requirements so it was a nice and wholesome time. Totally recommend!

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tagestour: Das malaysische Erlebnis!

Great tour comes very prepared. He also lets you taste local food and it’s a very studied guide. Very very recommended.

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tagestour: Das malaysische Erlebnis!

Throughly enjoyed our walking tour with Hakim who entertained the group throughout the tour with his knowledge and very impressive counting skills in so many different languages we lost count!

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tagestour: Das malaysische Erlebnis!

Hakim is an absolute legend. Would highly recommend his tour(s). I only wish we had 1 more day in KL to attend his night tour.

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tagestour: Das malaysische Erlebnis!

Not much of a tour but more of a hang out with a fully westernized Anglo-educated hipster in a touristy part of town and bar hop what they call hidden bars, you’ll love this tour. My night was 4 other tourists and all of them were into that. I’m not much of a boozer these days and while not forced, all the bars had not much else to offer other than alcohol. All the bars were kind of dead and weren’t much of a scene. That being said, objectively, it was solid. Hakim is a cool cat. The tour itself didn’t deliver for me, personally.

If you are in KL you can’t miss him . He is soooooo good . Best Guruwalk tour ever done by me

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Nachttour: Das Nachtleben!

I absolutely loved the tour with Hakim. He is extremely knowledgable and his English is excellent! He makes a lot of jokes and remember everyone’s name straight away. He also provides lots of useful information afterwards (where to go and what to do in KL and beyond in Malaysia). Highly recommend!

Fantastic and individualised tour by Carrol. I loved all the information and detail she shared. I felt that I had a true glimpse into the real KL. Carrol was knowledgeable and friendly, and made the whole walk feel very special. It was super fun to do the batik painting workshop too, with the lovely people from Earth Heir. I highly recommend booking a tour with Carrol!

Zentralmarkt: Von historischen Straßen zu handgefertigten Erinnerungen

We've done a few free walking tours and this was by far the best! A really nice introduction to KL with some very appreciative personal touches, such as sampling local fruits at a market. Thank you!

Hakim is the best guide of the city and his free tour is so far the best I ever did. Thanks for the great experience!

Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tagestour: Das malaysische Erlebnis!

100% satisfied. Chris did the tour, even though we were only two people. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Malaysia in general and Kuala Lumpur specifically. Chris also helped us find several things we looked for - on top of his „tour-duties“ and introduced us to some very tasty tea and foods.

One of the best tours you can do in KL! Carol was incredibly passionate throughout the entire tour, which lasted over two hours, and she shared so much about the history of Kuala Lumpur in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. Her knowledge was impressive, and she explained the important streets, landmarks, and historical context with so much clarity and wit. I also had an unexpected situation during the tour, and she was very understanding and accommodating, which I really appreciated. This is the kind of tour that makes you wish you had brought more cash, because it is absolutely worth a generous tip. Carol is knowledgeable, funny, warm, and clearly loves what she does. If you want to understand KL beyond just seeing the sights, this tour is absolutely worth doing.
