Carlos was such a great guide! Taught so much about history and political status of the city and country. Saw the main sites, lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do, and tasted lots of yummy treats! All love to Carlos for the great enthusiasm and humor on this trip!

Roger is a fantastic tourguide who gives you a very good brief introduction to Coimbra. What is outstanding is the entertainment and joy he is bringing to this tour. This is important because the second part of the route is done by taking many stairs to get to the university. It is absolutely worthy and the view from there amazing. Roger takes with serious care of all participants by making brakes when ascending and makes sure that everyone enjoys it. Please note the following, the tour ends close to the library. Even though the library is beautiful inside, I would not recommend to spend the extra 16€ there. It feels more like mass processing. The time to take a look inside is limited to 10min, photography and videography is absolutely forbidden there and their personel ensures this measurement. However, what I would recommend is this tour with Roger and his recommendations, mainly Ice Cream store and the café next to the starting point.
