Hola, soy Thyl (pronunciado "Teel"). ¡Me mudé a la ciudad de Silves hace 5 años y me encanta! Soy explorador y pintor, además de un apasionado de la naturaleza y la historia. Es un placer compartir con otros los lugares y paisajes que encuentro interesantes y transmitir un poco de conocimiento local. Hace unos años comencé a guiar (y conducir) recorridos con grupos pequeños en el campo local (Jeep Safaris en las colinas, Cruceros en barco por el río y Walking Tours). El principal interés era la naturaleza, pero siempre esperé algún día centrarme también en la cultura del lugar donde vivo. En casa, mi biblioteca está llena de libros de historia y ahora, después de la investigación necesaria, tengo el placer de presentarles, de una manera divertida y amigable, la increíble ciudad donde vivo.
Our tour of Silves was wonderful. Thyl gave us plenty of interesting information but didn't overwhelm us with too much. The route was comfortable and picturesque.
had the absolute pleasure of joining Thyl’s free walking tour of Silves, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. Thyl is incredibly knowledgeable and made a subject I was a complete novice in feel accessible and alive. His storytelling wove together facts and personal anecdotes that made me appreciate Silves and Portugal as a whole all the more. He was also kind enough to share thoughtful recommendations from scenic drives to a where we could find a good vegetarian meal. Highly, highly recommended
Had a lovely tour with Thyl today, on a more personal way than expected, which was great, as I felt I could ask lots of questions, which is what I typically wouldn't do if in a larger group. Thyl was knowledgeable about the tour, and it was lovely to see aspects of Silves that I haven't seen or noticed before :) Thank you Thyl!
