Ciao, sono Thyl (pronunciato "Teel"). Mi sono trasferito nella città di Silves 5 anni fa e lo adoro! Sono un esploratore e un pittore, oltre che un appassionato di natura e storia. È una gioia condividere con gli altri luoghi e paesaggi che trovo interessanti e trasmettere alcune conoscenze locali. Qualche anno fa ho iniziato a guidare (e guidare) tour con piccoli gruppi nelle campagne locali (Jeep Safari in collina, Crociere in barca sul fiume e Walking Tours). L'interesse principale era la natura ma ho sempre sperato un giorno di concentrarmi anche sulla cultura del luogo in cui vivo. A casa, la mia libreria è piena di libri di storia e ora, dopo le dovute ricerche, ho il piacere di presentare, in modo divertente e amichevole, la meravigliosa città in cui vivo.
This was an absolutely brilliant walking tour, both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it. Thyl was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. A great guide we learnt lots about Silves that we would not have done had we not done the walk, from secrets to legends to history all rolled into one. The walking tour is a must do! Meet place was easy to find with free parking. Great ending spot for individuals to choose where to further explore. Appreciated recommendations for local tips. Liked that he often stopped to talk in the shade. Shared personal stories to enhance interest. Seemed well researched- politics, economics, history. Thank you from Canada
Very nice walk around Silves. Thyl was informative, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the walk and really enjoyed our lunch afterwards at a little spot he recommended. Great way to spend a few hours in Silves.
