¡Hola! Me llamo Şahika. Soy de Estambul (odio a los habitantes de Estambul) y viví varios años en otras ciudades diversas y de ritmo rápido, como Houston, Boston y Londres. Creo que puedo ofrecer una perspectiva única de Estambul comparándola con otras metrópolis y, en definitiva, mostrar cómo no se parece a ninguna otra ciudad del mundo. Soy una viajera ávida y valoro profundamente las conexiones espontáneas que se crean en el camino; puramente por curiosidad compartida y un acuerdo tácito de compartir un momento juntos. Şahika war eine fantastische Guide, die die FreeTour zu einem echten Highlight meines Istanbul-Aufenthalts gemacht hat. Obwohl ich zum Zeitpunkt der Tour bereits sechs Tage in der Stadt war, hat sie mir fast ausschließlich neue Ecken und Perspektiven gezeigt – fernab der üblichen touristischen Trampelpfade. Sie vermittelt Geschichten unglaublich lebendig, mit viel Humor und spürbarer Liebe zu ihrer Stadt, sodass man ihr stundenlang zuhören möchte. Besonders gut haben mir die kleinen Anekdoten und Mythen gefallen, mit denen sie historische Fakten verknüpft und so ein stimmiges Bild von Istanbul zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart zeichnet. Gleichzeitig achtet sie darauf, die Gruppe mitzunehmen, Fragen zu beantworten und immer wieder praktische Tipps für weitere Erkundungen zu geben. Wer Istanbul nicht nur „abhaken“, sondern wirklich erleben will, ist bei Şahika genau richtig – ich würde ihre Tour jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Shahika was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. I really enjoyed her tour, and her style of delivery. It was definitely the highlight of my trip!
Incredibly knowledgeable and wow, such a good storyteller as well. She managed to turn centuries of complex events into an understandable and entertaining story. A great companion for understanding this beautiful city

S did not show up at the designated time (20 Jan 2026) nor the designated place (Books & Coffee). She did NOT respond to text messages inquiring as to whether she would show up or not. Next she reports to GuruWalk that I did NOT attend the tour when she was the one who was the NO SHOW!
