Ich bin gebürtige Istanbulerin (ich hasse Istanbuler) und habe mehrere Jahre in anderen vielfältigen und schnelllebigen Städten gelebt, darunter Houston, Boston und London. Ich denke, ich kann Ihnen eine einzigartige Perspektive auf Istanbul geben, indem ich es mit anderen Metropolen vergleiche und Ihnen letztendlich zeigen kann, dass es mit keiner anderen Stadt der Welt vergleichbar ist. Ich bin selbst eine begeisterte Reisende und schätze die spontanen Kontakte, die unterwegs entstehen, sehr; rein aus gemeinsamer Neugier und einer unausgesprochenen Vereinbarung, einen Moment miteinander zu teilen. If you're in Istanbul and want to discover Karaköy beyond the touristy spots, this tour is a total gem. You get to wander through all the small side streets, hidden corners, and surprising details you’d never find on your own, unless you had a local friend showing you around. And that's exactly what it felt like. Our guide Ungan grew up in this city and shared stories that gave the neighborhood real depth – a mix of history, politics, subculture, and fun facts that made every stop feel meaningful (and often hilarious). We had such a good time and left with a whole new appreciation for the area. Highly recommend if you want something off the beaten path.
