¡Hola viajeros! ¡Bienvenido a San José! Mi nombre es Julio. Nací aquí en Costa Rica y me crié en los Estados Unidos. Experimentar ambas culturas ha ampliado profundamente mis perspectivas del mundo de una manera significativa. Con más de 15 años viviendo en Costa Rica, puedo decir verdaderamente que he adoptado el estilo de vida "Pura Vida", desde excursiones a lo profundo de la jungla hasta experimentar la música y la comida únicas del país. Y como ávido lector y aficionado a la cultura, ha sido un viaje fascinante aprender sobre la historia que rodea a esta increíble ciudad. ¡Será un placer ser su guía! Permítanme compartir las historias que pueden abrir sus ojos a las maravillas que están frente a ustedes mientras hacemos un viaje desde el pasado y vemos las cosas en el presente de una manera nueva mientras caminamos a través de la historia y sus vínculos con el presente, y ¡más allá de! Fui profesor de ESL durante muchos años, así que sé el valor de mantener un grupo comprometido e interesado.
Jules gave us a unique and exciting view of Costa Rica, particularly in San Jose. Not only did he show us culturally and historically rich spots, but we also tried new flavors of the city. Jules was fantastic! He worked very hard to find topics and information that interested us. We loved all his quick facts and the extra background history he shared. He was well prepared and very knowledgeable. We could tell he loved Costa Rica and San Jose and wanted to share that with us. He cares about his customers and he provided snacks and a small picnic lunch and even hydration and umbrellas depending on what the weather was at the time. We highly recommend Jules. He was successful in his objective because we do want to return and see more of the places he pointed out and learn more about the area. Thanks for a great experience!
I really enjoyed the tour with Jules. It was full of fun facts about the capital and architectural highlights: from San Jose's Beverly Hills to the post-independence boom. Jules also introduced me to the diverse fruits native to Costa Rica over a wonderful picnic in the park. All in all, it was a morning packed with surprising information about the capital and was like a tour with an old friend. Very well prepared, executed, and well thought out! I'd be happy to do it again anytime.
Jules went above and beyond to show us the beauty and hidden gems of the historic center of San Jose. Full of interesting facts, funny anecdotes and "pura vida", it also included stops for local food tasting.
