Hallo Reisende! Willkommen in San José! Mein Name ist Jules. Ich bin hier in Costa Rica geboren und in den Vereinigten Staaten aufgewachsen. Das Erleben beider Kulturen hat meinen Blick auf die Welt auf sinnvolle Weise zutiefst erweitert. Mit mehr als 15 Jahren in Costa Rica kann ich wirklich sagen, dass ich den „Pura Vida“-Lebensstil übernommen habe – von Ausflügen tief in den Dschungel bis hin zum Erleben der für das Land einzigartigen Musik und Speisen. Und als begeisterter Leser und Kulturliebhaber war es eine faszinierende Reise, etwas über die Geschichte zu erfahren, die diese erstaunliche Stadt umgibt. Es wird mir eine Freude sein, Ihr Führer zu sein! This was a great introduction to the city center and downtown of San Jose. Jules did a great job personalizing the whole experience. He walks to you through the main attractions of the city center. He pays close attention to detail. It was a great experience. it’s about 3.5 hours long and it’s all worth it. Highly recommend.
Very nice guy, he shows yu both historical and culinary tips of the city. I recommand 👍
Jules was excellent. He gave lots of cultural and historical information but interspersed with fun facts and local knowledge. He paced the tour well and spoke in the shade or where we could sit. He treated us to refreshing drinks from a local fruit shop and savoury pastries from a bakers. We stopped in a shady spot in a park and he provided fruit that he had prepared and brought from home in an ice cooler. He even brought toothpicks and spoons. He also brought umbrellas and little cloths to put on walls when we sat to protect our clothes. He recommended traditional family run restaurants and places of interest that we might like to visit. He even gave us tips to make our money go further. We have done many guru walks in many countries but Jules was a star by far the best.
A great tour of San Jose with Jules! He gave us a good introduction to the city, insight into the interesting history of Costa Rica and many ideas for places to visit the next day. His love of and pride in his city was very evident. Pura vida Jules!
