Hallo Reisende! Willkommen in San José! Mein Name ist Jules. Ich bin hier in Costa Rica geboren und in den Vereinigten Staaten aufgewachsen. Mit mehr als 15 Jahren in Costa Rica kann ich wirklich sagen, dass ich den „Pura Vida“-Lebensstil übernommen habe – von Ausflügen tief in den Dschungel bis hin zum Erleben der für das Land einzigartigen Musik und Speisen. Und als begeisterter Leser und Kulturliebhaber war es eine faszinierende Reise, etwas über die Geschichte zu erfahren, die diese erstaunliche Stadt umgibt. This was a great mix of the expected, major attractions as well as some hand-picked more personal destinations and experiences (fresh coconut water at the fruit stand, snack in the park, inside look at boutique hotel and high end hostel, art exhibit in high end hotel.)
I had a fantastic experience on the walking tour in San José, Costa Rica with Jules as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the city. Jules brought the streets of San José to life with fascinating stories, local insights, and great recommendations for food and places to visit. The tour was the perfect mix of history, culture, and fun, and he made everyone in the group feel welcome and involved. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in showing visitors the real San José beyond the typical tourist spots. It was a great way to start exploring the capital and learn more about Costa Rica’s culture and history. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have the chance to do it with Jules!
