Hello travelers! Welcome to San Jose! My name is Jules. I was born here in Costa Rica and raised in the United States. Experiencing both cultures has deeply broadened my perspectives of the world in a meaningful way.
With more than 15 years of living in Costa Rica, I can truly say I have adopted the “Pura Vida” lifestyle – from excursions deep into the jungle to experiencing the music and food unique to the country. And as an avid reader and cultural buff, it’s been a fascinating journey to learn about the history that surrounds this amazing city. It will be my pleasure to be your guide!

This tour is tips based – so just know your tour is incentivized for the highest quality and enjoyment! The idea is to provide you with more than just a standard walking tour. I was an ESL teacher for many years so I know the value of keeping a group engaged and interested.
Jules is undoubtedly a great guide. I enjoyed a lot his tour, not a moment I was bored. All of the topics he covered were very interesting, I can hardly believe how much I have easily learnt in three hours. I was the only one in the tour for today but he was still very professional, did not attempt to shorten the tour and explained everything to me patiently as if there's a big group, he also took me a lot of good pics. And I appreciated it and liked it a lot he brought me to a local place and invited me a coconut juice and some local snacks, he also prepared some fruits and dessert for picnic at a well chosen location. All in all, Jule is highly rated on Guru walk not for no reason, I truly respect his passion as a tour guide while actively learning from his customers from all around the globe. Don't miss his tour even if you have only one day in San Jose, I would highly recommend his tour to anyone. It is a well planned route that covers a little bit of everything about Costa Rica, and lots of fun facts that made it difficult to forget. I have a lot of takeaways from this tour, thank you Jules.
