Fernando has a great sense of humor, wonderful command of English and great knowledge of the history of Merida. He downplays how horrible the Spanish conquistadors were to the indigenous peoples of Mexico. That's not a fault, just something I noticed. Thank you Fernando for helping us gather foundational knowledge of Merida.
This was a very interesting tour with loads of information about the historical center of Merida. Fernando was very entertaining throughout, and his commentary was at times humorous. I hope everyone tips him generously!
