Fernando is very knowledgeable about the history of the Mayans and the Aztecs as well as Spain's influence on them. I was hoping for more information on the beautiful old buildings. He did provide several great restaurant recommendations and information on many free activities.
I’ve taken a free walking tour in Merida before that was full of history and cool places. I wanted to do another since I was travelling with my parents & wanted to give them some more insight to where we were. This tour was a little different as we had some time to go into Art Galleries even. I wish there was a little more about Merida, the theatre, comedy nights, etc. but it was still an enjoyable tour. Fernando was kind, funny and very enthusiastic. Thanks for the tour!
