Io sono il signor Subhash. I turisti mi chiamano Sébastien. Sono stato accompagnato da turisti da tutto il mondo dal 1990 e li guido sia in città che nel deserto perché ho lavorato come cammelliere per 10 anni nel deserto da adolescente e inoltre pratico yoga e sono un sacerdote indù di mia estrazione, quindi ho una vasta conoscenza della storia di Jaisalmer, dell'arte e del taglio, della flora e della fauna del deserto, dello stile di vita tradizionale della gente del deserto. Excellent free walking tour of Jaisalmer Fort from Subhash, who has lived there all his life. Subhash is full of enthusiasm and knowledge, sharing insights and stories no regular guide would know. His kindness and sense of humour make this a great fun thing to do. Highly recommended.
Before starting the walk he asked us which places we are interested in and designed the walk accordingly. We definitely enjoyed our time. Subhash is born and raised in the city and loves this place from the bottom of his heart. And you can really feel that. Beside the guided tour we had some very good and deep conversations which made us understand the place, the culture and the religion a lot better. We really saw this place a little bit through his eyes. ❤️
