I am myself Mr. Subhash. Tourist call me Sébastien. I have been guided Tourist from all over the world since 1990 snd I guide them in city as well as in thar desert because I worked as a camelmen for 10 years in thar desert in my teenage and also I do yoga and I am a Hindu priest by my cast so I have a huge knowledge about jaisalmer history, art and cutting, flora and fauna of desert, traditional life style of desert people .as my family background is a Hindu Brahmin priest cast I can give you best knowledge about Hindu religion, Thai gods, karma, etc. I am 48 years old men so I learn a lot of knowledge and now I would like to share it with my foreign tourists.
Sebastian is a friendly and knowledge guy having grown up in the area. Love the little bits of info from when he was a kid. He is very patient to allow you to take as many photos as you like. We were able to share some in jokes through the tour which was awesome. Only suggestion would be to have some food stops on the way as that breaks up the listening, you know it's safe to eat and you're not getting ripped off. Shukriya bhai! You'll always be on top of my Jaisalmer friend list!

What I really loved about the tour with Sebastian was that he grew up in Jaisalmar and knows every corner. He provides information regarding how it used to be like living in Jaisalmer and how it is now. Of course he also knows all the history. It was fun going around with him on the motorbike, I fell like I really got to know the place
Excellent free walking tour of Jaisalmer Fort from Subhash, who has lived there all his life. Subhash is full of enthusiasm and knowledge, sharing insights and stories no regular guide would know. His kindness and sense of humour make this a great fun thing to do. Highly recommended.
Before starting the walk he asked us which places we are interested in and designed the walk accordingly. We definitely enjoyed our time. Subhash is born and raised in the city and loves this place from the bottom of his heart. And you can really feel that. Beside the guided tour we had some very good and deep conversations which made us understand the place, the culture and the religion a lot better. We really saw this place a little bit through his eyes. ❤️
